Shelley and I arrived next at Lipan Point. We were still scouting for a sunset location on day two. I must say that Lipan Point is one of my favorite overlooks into the Grand Canyon. The view is commanding. Looking straight west you can follow the Colorado River as it flows downstream. From this viewpoint, the Grand Canyon stretches as far as the eye can see. Its layers pull you down into depths of the Canyon. And there you see the river which formed it all,
